Pinsler, Leon J. age 78, beloved husband of the late Shirlee, loving father of Steven (Laura), Bruce (Erin), Michael and the late Randy Pinsler, adored "Papa" of Stephanie, Samuel, Ellexia, Joseph, Ryan and Will, dear brother of the late Paul Pinsler, fond brother-in-law of Rae Pinsler and Ruthe (Ronald) Waller, devoted uncle of Gary (late Bonita) Cohen, Pamela Pinsler, Mark (Sue) Pinsler, Keith and Jack (Tamar) Waller and many others, and great-uncle to Eric, Ross, Tyler, Trent and Rachel and cousin of Fred "Saucy" Pinsler. He was "Papa" to all. Services Tuesday, April 4, at 11 a.m. at Weinstein Funeral Home North Shore Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette (1 block north of Old Orchard). Interment Memorial Park, Skokie. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Shirlee Foundation for Underprivileged Children, c/o North Community Bank, 3639 N. Broadway, Chicago, 60613, 773-244-7000. Steven,Bruce,and Micheal. I am so sorry. I loved my uncle Leon. He and aunt Shirley took care of me for a long time. I will never forget when I needed something,(mostly money)I would go to him. In the back ground you would hear, {aunt shirley)GIVE HIM WHAT HE WANT'S LEON, and he always did. I will never forget my UNCLE LEON.
