Dear Pat & Rhonda,
I wanted to extend my deepest sympathies to both of you. How difficult today was for both of you and your girls and I wish this horrible tragedy never happened. Always know Leo will be with all of you in everything you do and everywhere you go. He was such a strong force in your lives and the lives of your girls and that will never diminish. All the great things I have been remembering about Leo, I'm sure you all have thousands and thousands of those memories so many that it will keep a smile on your faces for years and years to come.
John reminded me about a great memory of Leo and now everytime I think of that I will have a smile on my face and a secret laugh with him!! He reminded me about when we would be bowling and if I did good everyone would say "That's it Sue" and Leo shortened it to "Titsue" and that is what he would call me. Look at all the people who came to pay their respects today!! People just kept coming and coming it goes to show you when you knew Leo you were a friend for life.
Pat like you said to me today keep a smile on your face Leo would have wanted it that way. Well I am saying the same back to you Keep a smile on your face and stay strong...
I love you both and you're girls are beautiful!!!

Hugs from Heaven
When you feel a gentle breeze
Caress you when you sigh
It's a hug sent from Heaven
From a loved one way up high.
If a soft and tender raindrop
Lands upon your nose
They've added a small kiss
As fragile as a rose.
If a song you hear fills you
With a feeling of sweet love
It's a hug sent from Heaven
From someone special up above.
If you awaken in the morning
To a bluebird's chirping song
It's music sent from Heaven
To cheer you all day long.
If tiny little snowflakes
Land upon your face
It's a hug sent from Heaven
Trimmed with Angel lace.
So keep the joy in your heart
If you're lonely and feel no end
Hugs that are sent from
Heaven
A broken heart will mend.

To the Rooney Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. This news is so devastating and I can not imagine what you all are going through. I keep thinking what a profound loss this is for everyone then I turned it around and thought what a loss it would have been for all of us if we had never known Leo. We all have been touched and enriched just for knowing him and being his friend and I feel so honored for being one of those people.
Dear Leo,
I have so many memories of you and I will always hold them in a special place within my heart. From the first time I met you and your wonderful family over 20 years ago to the time you and Pat saved my Dad from getting beat up at John's bachelor party. All the bowling tournaments and trips, especially the one to Niagra Falls when you talked all the guys into getting their ear pierced, I have the pictures somewhere with the look of shock and pain on all their faces. Only you could talk everyone into that!!! To the huge block parties that no-one would ever miss and smelt fishing on Lake Michigan (I would have never got up that early for anyone else). I remember requesting "Hotel California" for you at my wedding and you & I dancing to it. I still can remember me saying "Leo, I can not dance to this" and you saying SSHH just dance!! I always looked forward to the friday night bowling night to see you and all of our friends. I am grateful to John for introducing me to you and all of them and I can honestly say those were one of the best times of my life. It is sad when things in life take you in different directions and life in general takes over and I am so sorry that we lost touch. Leo, you were always larger than life and "tuns o fun" and I will never forget you.
I love you dear friend and rest in peace....
