My deepest sympathy to all of you. My husband had surgery today so I am sad that I am unable to visit with you. My mom, Helen, is bereft in losing her dearest friend. I have such fond memories of so many good times with your family so long ago, but, most of all, I remember what a gracious and kind woman your mom has always been. Her encouragement throughout my battle with cancer will always be remembered. She has been the best role model you as a family could have.
