Lee Tenzer Obituary
Lee Emery Tenzer of Naples, FL (and Chicago, IL and Lake Geneva, WI) passed away on September 19 at the age of 79 with his wife and 3 daughters at his side. Lee was born in Chicago on October 22, 1942 to Gustave and Betty Tenzer, as was his twin sister Lyn. Lee graduated from Proviso East High School in 1960 and attended DePauw University in Greencastle, IN, graduating in 1964. After college Lee worked for Sears and International Harvester. He married Marilyn Mears in 1971. He received an MBA from the University of Chicago School of Business in 1977. In the early 1980s Lee switched careers and became an options trader at the CBOE. He formed his own company, LETCO Trading, which eventually became LETCO Group. LETCO would grow to trade on 7 different exchanges and employ over 150 people. Lee sold LETCO in 2002 and retired to Florida, returning to the Midwest to visit his alma mater, attend Bears games, enjoy Lake Geneva, and eventually to spend time with his 3 grandchildren. Lee was a passionate supporter of education, donating his time and money to DePauw University, U of C Booth, the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund and the WGA Evans Scholars Program. Lee is survived by his wife, Marilyn, his 3 daughters, Kathryn, Rebecca and Melissa, his 3 grandchildren, Quinn, Lleyton Lee and Sydney, his twin sister Lyn, and many nieces and nephews and in-laws. So sorry to read about Lee´s death. Remember we met Marilyn and Lee during the Ryder Cup in Ireland. We had fun time together.
Later we met a couple of times in Naples. Will keep good memories. Our thoughts are with Marilyn and his daughters.

Lee has been a friend for over 25 years. During that time we enjoyed fun times on the golf course, playing cards and dinners together. He loved his family and enjoyed times with friends. He will be missed.

I am very sad to hear of Lee´s passing. I so enjoyed our exercise sessions over the years. Even more fun when Marilyn joined us. He always made sure to let me know his & Marilyn´s workout progress in my absence ( right Marilyn
). Those were wonderful hours spent with two wonderful people. Marilyn, Katie, Rebecca & Missy....you have my deepest condolences.
