Polk, Lee A. 101, beloved husband of Frances (nee Martin) and the late Mary Lane Polk, was born into eternal life on June 15, 2014. Loving father of Lee T. (Diana) Polk; beloved grandfather of Angela Fogel, Adam and Daniel Polk; loving great-grandfather of Annabelle, Hailey and Ethan Fogel. Preceded in death by siblings, Eugenia Woodruff, Marie Leali, Charles and Andrew Poklacki. Visitation Tuesday, June 17 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Theis-Gorski Funeral Home, 3517 N. Pulaski Rd., Chicago, IL 60641. Mass of the Christian Burial to follow at St. Viator Catholic Church at 11:00 am. Interment All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. While I was not as close to Lee as I would have liked I always enjoyed his company. He usually had a good story and he was not afraid to tell it. He went out of his way to be kind and gracious. He was a nice man. In the end if that can be said about us when we are gone we will have succeeded.
