Lawrence Bromley Obituary
Lawrence "Larry" Bromley, Korean War and U.S. Navy Veteran, passed away December 5, 2020. Larry was a retired CPD Officer where he served for 26 years and a former Chicago Public School Teacher and Coach. Beloved husband of 56 years to Virginia "Sis" (nee McMahon); loving father of Thomas (Nina Burkholder) Johnson, Peggy (Jim Leeney) Johnson, James Bromley, Eileen (Michael) Flynn, and Maureen (Thomas) Eichstaedt; proud papa of Marty and Shannon Flynn, dear brother to the late John Bromley, Robert (Emily) Bromley, William (Carol) Bromley, the late June Bromley, the late Thomas Bromley, and Gerald (Loretta) Bromley; cherished uncle and Godfather to Christine Bromley; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation held Wednesday from 3:00-9:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th Street, Chicago Ridge; Funeral Thursday, 9:00 a.m. from Curley Funeral Home to Sacred Heart Church, 8245 W. 111th Street, Palos Hills for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment private.
