I am also shocked and deeply saddend by the loss of a good, if recent, friend. Larry and I spent countless hours over the last year discussing the challenges and possibilities in living life, building a business and being in relationship with our friends and families. He was a rare and special person committed to living a life of extraordinary love and integrity and made a profound impact on my own life in a very short period of time. I miss those conversations acutely and always will. Emily and Samantha--he shared with me his un-dying love and commitment for you both...you were indeed the great loves and lights in his life. He was very proud of you both...I, too would like to extend my deepest sympathies and offer you my hand should you ever need it.

Emily and Samantha - Even though we only spent brief times with you both and Larry over a few Christmas holidays, we all fondly remember Larry's sense of fun! May you both find peace.

Dear Samantha and Emily,
This comes as a tremendous loss of a great friend and colleage. I know he loved his ladies more than anything else in the world although sailing was a close runner up. He was so proud of the both of you. We always talked about what the two of you were doing. He was a proud father and a loving husband. You two were his world. He will be greatly missed by all of us. My prayers go out to the both of you and your families. If you need anything, you can call anytime day or night.

Emily we have never met. I went to law school with Larry and became bonded with him following a title company collapse in 2000. Larry was a fine lawyer and a better person. I will miss him. My best to you, your and Larry's family. The world is a colder place without him.

Emily - I remember you from your high school piano-playing days. I was so sorry to hear of your sudden loss. In your 4 years of marriage, you had "only just begun." You certainly deserved a long and happy married life and it is hard to understand why it is not to be. My deepest sympathy to you. May the love and support of family and friends see you through this very difficult time.

Emily we never met. I am a business acquaintance of Larry. We shared a bond because I am kidney donor. I cherished his humor and his joy of life and will miss being with him but nothing as much as you and your daughter are.

Our deepest sympathy to Emily and Samantha, as well to the Knurek and De Vries families during this hard time.
My fondest memory of Larry are the times of growing up and working in the grocery store Larry was always the calm person who given a job, quietly got it done. And I remember running into Emily and Larry at Einstein Bagel in Old Town on a Sunday morning.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
