Springer, Kevin W. age 45, late of Salt Lake City, UT and formerly of Hegewisch. Loving son of Judy (nee Erickson) and the late Charles Springer, Ret. CPD, dearest brother of Charles Springer Jr., Julianne (Jerry) Vollbrecht, Susan (Mark) Gorny and William (Rachel) Springer, also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Veteran of U.S. Marine Corps. Visitation Sunday, 1 to 9 p.m. Funeral services Monday, September 11, 2006, at 9:15 a.m., from the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago, to St. Columba Church. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. 773-731-2749.

Judy, Julie, Suzie & Extended Family:
I am so sorry for the loss of Kevin. I don't understand why these things happen, but, God will take care of Kevin now. He is in God's hands and will be okay from now on. I wish you much love and many prayers at this time. Take care and God Bless all of you.

Mike Jurkash told me that Kevin had died. I am so sorry for you, his family, and friends. When somebody dies tragicaly and suddenly, I ask the family if they still love him or her. "Of course we do' is always the reply. Then I ask if their love is greater than God's love - it can't be and never will be...God loved Kevin from the beginning and it never stops. God doesn't love us because we are good - we are good because God loves us - now and forever. He is safely home and at peace. My prayers are for you, his family and friends....

I will miss you so much, Kevin. I wish I could have done something for you. My children are grieving because they lost a wonderful uncle. I am grieving because I lost a wonderful brother. I hope you are now at peace and out of pain. You will always be in my thoughts daily. Watch over my children and keep them safe. I love you and always will.

To A wonderful Person who I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing for over Twenty Years I wish I could have been there for you when you needed someone the most, you will be missed Kevin I Love You, GOD Bless You.
