December 14, 2009

We are so sorry for your loss. The loss of a child is something we all hope we never have to experience. I can't even begin to understand your pain. My son knew Kevin through the football program at school and was on the track team with him. Kevin was a Senoir and my son was just a Freshmen. The older kids didn't have much patience with him and weren't willing to help him, however Kevin stepped up and helped him. He gave him pointers on how to be better and treated him with respect and kindness. You should be very proud of the person he grew up to be. He was a very loving and kind person. My son always spoke fondly of him. He said Kevin was one of the good guys. God bless your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Hopefully time will help to heal your broken hearts.
Sincerely, The Stoklosa Family

The patriach Jacob grieved deeply over the loss of his son. He expected to grieve until the day he died. Like,Jacob you may feel the pain of losing a beloved one is so deep that it will never go away. In times like this, we need to go to the Greatest Source of comfort, God's Word the Bible. Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort."-2Corinthians1:3 "God comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those in any sort of tribulation through the comfort with which we ourselves are being comfortrd by God"-2 Corinthians1:3 Remember, God loves us {you} and does not want any of us to suffer.

December 14, 2009

My dearest Kevin, Words can not express the pain we all feel. You gave us the gift of your love, unconditional with no strings. It was genuine and pure. You gave the most precious gift of yourself, your time. The list is endless. All the moves we did with Jessica and Kathryn. To Des Moines, Detroit, Chicago, Lockport, and State Street. Helping Uncle Jim and Aunt Julie finish their basement so he could use the benefit of it with his family. The weekend rehab for Grandma and her bathroom just like the TV shows. You where a much better plumber than me. Helping Nikki with the move to New York and the miracle you did with your natural mechanical ability. You helped us with our volunteer work at St. Francis with the garage for Fr. Ed. You where one of the ice boys who helped Sister B. with her driveway. We had breakfast at Southfork. You and your brother had skirt steak and hash browns, your dad had the same but a dozen eggs. I so looked forward to seeing you grow into a man and attain all your dreams. You will always be in my thoughts, always. With my Love, Uncle Ted

My dearest Godson, how I'll miss you. How blessed I was to share in your brief life. You leave me with so many happy memories that I will treasure. I have all my angel figurines around my house that you have given me as gifts over the years...now I know you are with the real angels who took you straight to God on Friday. My Kevin, how I'll miss you....my heart aches so much...I ask just one more favor, Kev...surround your Mom, Dad, Matt, Amy & Jill....with all your love so they will forever feel your loving embrace....you always had those big strong arms, so willing to help everyone...and we still need those arms to comfort us now. So keep on working up there in Heaven, Kevin- I know how you love to work....Auntie Sue loves you so much, you're such a good boy...I'll miss you.
