~I know there is going to be a hard time in everybodies life someday but for you and your family that time is now. Many people said that Kevin was one of those guys that when you felt sad he could cheer you up, and when you were happy he could make you happier. I hope God takes care of Kevin and your family during this time. Kevin will be missed forever and for always. Take care~

Dr.& Mrs. Aleck,

Words cannot express how my heart bleeds for you both. I know of the pain losing your son causes. Talking to other moms and dads who had gone through it really helped me to keep my sanity. Please do not hesitate to call me at any time to talk, or cry or whatever.

Whether you feel them or not, God and Kevin are walking with you now.

Love,

Christy Pace

Dear Kevin and Aleck Family,

I still can not believe this happened. We wish you were still here to keep everyone laughing and smiling. I know Kyle and all your friends are hurting, they sure miss you. I want your family to know how sad we are that this happened and words really can't decribe how we feel. I will miss coaching you and seeing your smile. We will never forget you Kevin you were such a good kid and friend that really touched us all. I know you are in a better place. You and your family will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

Kevin was really nice and always had a smile on his face. He was in my classes in 6th grade, and Zach, Mike, and Kevin would always call me and make me laugh all the time. Monday was terrible back at school, everyone was crying, even people that weren't friends with Kevin. A lot of people had to go to counseling. I would have to say that Kevin was the nicest out of all the 8th graders. He was nice to everyone. We all miss him.

To the Aleck Family and Friends-

I just wanted to express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. I never met Kevin, but I've heard such great things about this young football star. My younger sister was in Kevin's grade at Hickory Creek Middle School, and I know that her and others are hurting. You are in my thoughts and prayers as well as my family's.

Kevin was a great kid. I have known him since about kindergarten, but ever since I have become closer with Lauren Ruzich.. I became closer with Kevin... Hearing about this accident still seems unreal. Every time I think about him, there are many great memories.. I wish there would be more. Times like his great partys and talking to him at lunch..he was just always smiling and happy. I have been with many friends and the Aleck family , and I just wanted every one to know (including Kevin) That they are all in my prayers and this will never be forgotten.. Im sorry too. I love you Kevin so much .. and I will miss you forever

Tom Aleck and Family

Way too many years have past since you and I have spoken Tom.

I am sorry for that. I have been reading what Kevin's friends have written about him. Sounds like he was a lot like you. Always smiling and liked by everyone who ever met him.

I just wanted to say to you and your family how sad I am for you about the loss of your son. I will pray and hope God gives you strength to make it through this time of grief.

He will be missed and remembered by everyone who was lucky enough to meet him.

The Aleck Family,

Hi, I was Kevin's friend. He was really an amazing kid. He always knew how to make me smile and I could always talk to him online. I will truly miss seeing AlecK91 on my buddylist becuase when he would sign on I would be like, sweet Kevin's on. I first met Kevin when I went to my friend Lauren's house. He was there with Blake and Kyle, and Gina and Rachael were also there. It was really funny too. We were watching Signs and Kevin was going out with my friend Lauren D. and we were sitting in the basement. It was a really good time.. also Kevin and me would also make plans together. Like, we planned to have this huge powderpuff football game.. 10 mokena girls vs 10 hickory creek girls and almost every time I talked to him , he'd be like I'm the coach and you guys are going down.. haha .. he was just so awesome and made me smile every time I talked to him. And I will miss him soo much and I am soo sorry for your loss. Kevin was an amazing person and maybe God took him for some company up there becuase he knew he would make everyone laugh and smile. Kevin Aleck I will miss you dearly buddy. I'll see you soon.
