i just found this website and am so moved to read the thoughts of my brother Ken's friends. What many people didn't know about him was that he was the best big brother a girl could have. He was the wind beneath my wings and behind every really good thing that has ever happened to me. He taught me how to live and he and barb taught me how to love. I am muddling through without his smile yet it is bright ih my heart always. If there is a heaven, he is surely there with a front row seat.
Thanks to all

Dear Ken:
I was so enormously saddened to read of your death in today's Tribune. It's been a long time since we worked together, but our days at the ADA were both special and successful,in large part because of your commitment and hard work. And you helped to make it fun as well! Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with both you and your family. God bless you, Ken.

Everyone who has had the pleasure of knowing Ken is a richer person because of that privilege. Ken brought joy and happiness to the life of everyone who knew him. I will miss my friend but never forget him. My deepest sympathy to the family he left behind. God Bless You.

Barb, Libby and Jack,
It is not easy to put feelings into words at such a sad time... While Ken's physical presence will be greatly missed, we will charish the many memories from the last 30 or so years. It was wonderful how Ken could find humor in almost everything, although, we saw the warm, caring, serious side of him, as well. Love, Betty, Jim and Devin

I am so sorry for your loss. Althought I did not know him well being with Bud and naming his son with his name I felt that he was an awesome man in all aspects.
With regrets,

I worked with Ken for a short time at AANS. The thing I remember most is how he spoke with loving pride of his wife and children. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.

To the Nolan Family,
I began working with Ken at the AANS in July of 2004. Though I only knew him a short time, he was always helpful and always had a good story to tell! Our lunch room will not be the same without seeing Ken sitting there every day reading his newspaper while he ate his lunch. I'm so sorry for your loss.
