We are sorry to hear of Kens passing. He sealcoated our driveways and business parking lots for many years. He was such a kind man, he took my son who was about 12 at the time in the big red truck to get asphalt, what a thrill it was for him. Funny now he is 24 and a UPS driver, I guess Kens act of kindness may have shaped his future.

We missed his smiling face this morning when Ken Jr. showed up with the Wilson crew to seal our driveway which his father had done for us so many times. We had not heard of his passing and were saddened when Ken Jr. informed us. Ken Sr. was one of a kind and we will miss him. His handshake was his business contract and you never had to count your fingers afterwards. God bless him and our deepest condolences to his Mrs. and his son and daughters and their families.

Ken would always come in my store around 4am, grab the newspaper, a cup of ice water, and would sit in the back to read. He was the biggest sweetheart and I loved seeing his smile every morning. I got attached to him so quick because he reminds me of my grandpa. I am forever grateful for getting to know this amazing man and im really going to miss the stories we shared. My heart goes out to his family. He will be missed by so many.

Deepest condolences to Ken’s family. We got to know Ken through his asphalt business shortly after we moved into the neighborhood 30 years ago. He seal-coated our driveway many times over the years and tore it out and replaced it just a few years ago. He always impressed us with his meticulous craftsmanship, his integrity and his spirit. He always had a smile on his face and time to have a chat whenever we saw him. He seemed invincible and we are saddened by his loss. RIP Ken.
