As a fellow educationalist with a similar worldview to Ken's, I watched Ken's talk more than any other Ted Talk, and made all my students watch it too! (not that it took much persuasion as he was brilliant - inspiring, entertaining, informative, inclusive, just wonderful). Ken's gifted way with words was reflected in his ability to weave a story, underpinned with universal meanings and truth. I loved this theories, his unique perception, his lateral thinking. As an educationalist, he was a true inspiration. He will be sorely missed. Just read this sad news of his passing now on the RSA journal. Was so sorry to hear the sad news. He will be missed. Ken was, in fact, a legend in his own right. His legacy will live on. RIP Sir Ken Robinson.

What a legacy he leaves behind! With wit and wisdom, he delivered such powerful messages. As a fellow educator, I so appreciate his spot-on take on education. Though I didn’t know him, his talks felt so personal. His kindness and goodness always shone through. His passing is a terrible loss to our world. May he rest in peace.

I can't beieve I've only just found out that the great Sir Ken Robinson has passed.
This world has lost one of the greatest thinkers that has ever lived. His insight, theories and philosophy of finding our own happiness in discovering our "Element" is life-changing . His books have been a light switching moment for me and my sons (still in school system)
I am so deeply saddened that he has passed at only 70.
I will so miss his enlightening talks. He spoke with such intelligence, charm and wit. My heart goes out to his family who have lost such an unreplaceable human being.
RIP Ken,and thankyou so much for sharing your genius with the our world. You are so missed alreadyxxx

Ken was awesome! He confirmed what I thought about the Education System. I was thrilled that he was able to talk about creativity and how schools did not develop creativity. I used his TED-Talk many times as in my University level courses. How fortunate we were to have him speak up about our educational system. He influenced so many of us (teachers), he may have never realized his impact. Rest in peace!

Sincerest sympathy to Sir Ken Robinson”s family. I was introduced to the arts by two teachers when I was in the third grade. I’ve live it ever since. That was more than fifty years ago. Like Sir Ken, I hope it returns to schools.
