Why Kelly? That's what I keep asking myself. Such a beautiful girl with the prettiest smile. If anything keeps me strong about this it's the faith she had in God. For I know she was carried up to heaven on the wings of an angel. RIP Kelly.

To Kelly's family:

I did not know Kelly, but my son Brad Elliott (attends Southern) notified me of her tragic loss. We have mourned her loss and have been in constant prayer for Jesus' healing on your family. May He be close to you and comfort you and your family. May we rejoice in the knowledge of eternal life with Him. God bless you.

My heart and prayers go out to the family and friends. I worked with Kelly for 2 years at the Jewel, and because of her, I was introduced to Christ. She acheived so much in her 20 years of life with us, and we must know that we are blessed to have had her with us.

Dear Weimer Family,

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. It is really surprising how God works, and even though we don't know what God's intentions are or why this happened, remember that we have hope! The hope that God died for our sins and that she died in Christ! Rememeber that one day when Jesus comes again, all of you as well as Kelly will meet again. She is only sleeping right now, away from all harm.

I was told that she was a nice person; a group of friends went to visit Burbank Church in the year 2000 and I was told by them that she was the first one to greet them. That shows that not only was she in God's steps, but also that she was very special. May God Bless all of you. If we don't see each other here, we'll see each other in Heaven!!

Sincerely, Berwyn Hispanic SDA Church

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Weimer,

You do not know me and I did not know your daughter Kelly. I was touched by your loss this week up in Colledgedale and I felt I needed to contact you. I know very well what you are now going through. In October my 20 year old son, a student at UT Knoxville passed away in his dorm room in a freak accident. I know you are asking why this happened to Kelly and cannot come to terms with God's plan in all of this. We have gone down this road 6 months ahead of you and it is not easy. We know that for you as for us life will never be the same. But God will always be the same and we have obtained comfort in getting closer to Him. Take comfort in the fact that all who live and believe in Him will never die. We will be praying for you and hope that you too will be able to keep living, especially for your other children. Everyone will tell you to take life one day at a time. That is the only way to move down this road. Grief is hard work and it is exhasuting, but God will help you get through each day and His promises of eternal life are real and we will again see our loved ones. As Paul writes in Romans 8, " Neither death nor life,... nor anything else in all creation will be able to seperate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Dear Bill & Family:

I'm sure I speak for all your friends in magic. Words alone cannot express how sad we all are for your loss. You have our deepest sympathies at this time.

I was deeply saddened and shocked to hear the news about your beloved, Kelly. I met and got to know her while working at HAA. She was a beautiful, vibrant, and wonderful young lady and I have been blessed by knowing her. Her love and commitment to God was evident in the way she lived and loved. I pray that you will find peace and comfort in the days to come.
