Riley, Kathleen Marie

Age 66, Born into Eternal Life on January 30, 2021. Beloved wife of Theodore "Ted" Woerthwein. Loving daughter of the late Jean E. (nee Sadowski) and James R. Riley, Sr. Dear sister of the late James, C.P.D., Jean O'Donnell, Ret. CPD, Mary Riley, Ret. CPD, John, and Joseph Riley. "Aunt Kathy" was also loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be dearly missed by her neighbors, Mary and Laura, and her many friends.

Alumna of St. Denis Grammar School, Queen of Peace High School, earned her B.S. at DePaul University. After the 911 terrorism, Kathy returned to school at Northeastern University in Chicago and earned her Master's Degree in Special Education. Longtime Special Education Teacher at Bogan H.S.

Kathy was a Beverly Resident and lifelong Chicagoan.

Family and friends will meet at St. Thomas More Church, 8100 S. California Ave., Chicago, IL 60652 on Saturday, February 6, 2021 for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Funeral Info: Heeney-Laughlin Funeral Directors, 708-636-5500 or www.heeneyfh.com
