We were neighbors for many years. Katie had a kind and generous heart, and a wonderful smile.
Our family appreciated all the things the Gutrich family did for us when our mom was ill.
A few memories of Katie will stay with me... teaching her daughters how to swim as Michael and Rita looked on and encouraged them from the deck. Katie and her daughters (when they were young) were one of the first trick or treaters at my mother's house. What stands out the most though were our chats over the fence when we both took breaks from caring for our respective mothers. Katie was a thoughtful person.
May God's love embrace the Gutrich family and may Katie rest in peace.

I’m so sorry for your loss of Katie. She was an amazing woman who touched so many lives. My heart breaks for her sweet girls Molly and Maggie. My prayers and healing thoughts to the Guthrich and Malone family.

My dear friend Katie..... Katie was the kindest, most loving, intelligent, funny, loyal, beautiful woman and dear old friend. Growing up we always had fun, made the best of any situation and got into some trouble together which was usually fun too! She was the epitome of what a true friend should be, and I was very blessed with her friendship. I’m thankful for the wonderful memories, and the love over the years that didn’t change just because our lives did. Katie you were loved, you will be missed and I will see you again my friend, I love you more.
