Linda you said it all...I remember watching the twins get all dressed up to go to the Irish dances....always thought they were so beautiful and Mary Ellen too with her gorgeous red hair. My sister and I would have to watch Ed Sullivan show while the card players finished up....always laughing and good times..many good memories at the Bryce house...the smell of pipe smoke....the Irish bread and sandwiches and lots of tea....kathleen "Sweeney" keogh....we will miss you Kathleen....and your happy personality!

Dear Ann and Eileen,
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. I was unaware she was sick until receiving the Christmas letter from you, Ann. I am saddened, yet I know that Tommy is probably happy to finally have both his parents home with him. I can't help but imagine the reunion up in heaven with all whom we've lost throughout the years. I will miss your Mom's effervescent smile and sparkling eyes.....she was a beautiful person, inside and out. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
All My Love,
Sharon Fyke

Early memories of busy summers, Whalen Pool, High School Proms,
Irish Dances, the Sweeney Girls, and all the card games forever emblazoned in ones mind and heart. Parkside welcomed all from John and Kate McDonnell, Big Marion, Sabina Murray, Roy and Eileen Carlson, the Calhouns the Murrays and so many more will always make one wonder if the card game is just shifting to a higher location....Rest in peace Kay
