Kathleen Blackburn Obituary

I still think about her a lot, she was just the best Grandma a grandchild could ever have. Miss you so much, you were the glue of the Blackburn family.

Even though it's been 10 years since she passed now, I still remember her amazing kindness and sense of humor. Rest in peace, Grandma... you are missed.

I will always remember my dear friend Kay every Christmas as I hang on my tree a beautiful glittery cross ornament that she gave me. Rest In Peace dear Kay.

It's almost 1 year, and I miss my friend Kay everyday.

I will always have great and fond memories of Kay, my aunt and godmother. The more memorable ones are when we would go on photo excursions since we both loved photography!

I met Kathleen at Chris''s wedding. She lit up the dance floor at the reception and glowed with happiness for Chris and Heather. I extend my sympathy to the Blackburn family at her passing. I know her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of all those who knew and loved her.

My deepest sympathy on the sad passing of Kay. Kay was a wonderful woman and a true friend to me over the years. I will always remember the first time I met Kay on her only ever visit to Ireland with Faith Pearson over 12 years ago where we toured the whole country including her special place Castlebar and since from my many visits to Audubon.

You will be greatly missed.

I am truly saddened to learn of Kay's passing after just returning from the Chicago area and my mother's funeral. Kay will be a huge loss to all who knew and loved her. She was one of a kind and a blessing to all of us. May God be with her family in this time of sorrow.

Deepest sympathy to the entire family and specifically to Liz, who Susie and I had the pleasure of being with when she'd visit her mom. Kay was the best on so many different levels. She'll be sorely missed by all who had the honor to know her.

I am truly saddened to learn of Kay's death. She was such a dear friend to my mother, Patricia Green, and a new friend to me. When my mother received her cancer diagnosis Kay was a great resource for her and source of inspiration to all. I take comfort that Kay and Mom can now ride out a hurricane together again.
