I was a student of Ms. Valone's at Oliver Wendell Holmes school in 1960-61. It was the greatest year in grammar school for me. Ms. Valone passed out New Testaments in the public school as an end of the year gift. I never lost it. She is happy with her Lord I am sure.

Miss Valone was also my most memorable teacher from Nightingale School. To this day, my nails are always clean:) Throughout the years I would think of her whenever I saw a fountain pen. I have fond memories of sixth grade as her student. God Bless Miss Valone. Rest in Peace

Ms. Valone was my 6th grade teacher at Nightingale School. She was one of the best teachers I ever had and I always remember her fondly. She had a great love for teaching and her students as well as we had a love for her as well. I will always remember the bear hugs she would give us and squeeze us tightly and she always made sure we were all presentable for school. She was a great teacher and woman. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Valone family during this difficult time.

My husband fondly remebers Mrs. Valone pulling his ear to keep him in line...Mrs. Valone also taught our two daughters who are now in their late 30's... My husband told our girls that Mrs Valone would be the best strict and caring teacher they could ever have...I loved talking to Mrs Valone during p/t conf. time...we will remember her fondly...may God rest her soul.

I was a stundent of Ms. Valone at Nightengale School in 1980. She was an excellent teacher. I remember taking a Greek class she taught after school. The saying was back then was " If you had Ms. Valone as a teacher you better keep your nails clipped and hands clean." Being a mother now I chuckle how back then we were so nervous that she might have us wash our hands. She will be missed.
