Karyl was amazing on so many levels. I remember her 80th birthday party, when she raised her glass and shouted, "Karzen Women!" She somehow made me feel so privileged to be a member of that group. I know so many family members I´d likely never have met were it not for Karyl´s devotion to family. May her memory always be a blessing.

Jenny, Doug, and David, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Karyl always seemed indomitable. She was up for just about anything - even walking a half-marathon with me. She was in her early 70s and had never done this before, but I could barely keep up! We survived the marathon (hills, mud and all) and raised some money in memory of my mom, her first cousin. I'm so proud of her for continuing to race and for doing so well. And I'll always be grateful for how she kept her family together - even extended family like me. Karyl, you were Queen of the Karzen Women, and you always will be. Miss you already.

Karyl was my tax accountant for over 40 years and yet, I only met her once. She was so helpful, attentive to this little fish in her big world and I always felt that I was her most important client. It so odd to have only met her the one time and feel that I knew her, at least in a professional capacity for so long. When she segued my account to a colleague, she assured me I was in great hands. She always reassured me that everything would be just fine. I appreciate her professionalism and caring. May her memory be a comfort and a blessing to all.

Karyl was a real pleasure to work with over the course of many decades. I especially liked her to-the -point advice (not sugar coated). What an amazing woman.
