Karen Sims Obituary

Memorial service for Karen Denise White Sims, 50, will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 8 at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. John L. Ragland will officiate. There will be no public viewing. Ms. Sims died October 3, 2011 in Talladega. She was preceded in death by one son, Joseph White; one daughter, Jacquline White; parents, Samuel and Earnestine White; step-father, S. T. Chapman; one brother, Harry Keith; one sister, Debra White; grandparents, John and Thelma Keith and Samuel and Mary White. She was a member of Morning Star; was educated in the Talladega County Public School System. She is survived her daughter, Cassandra White; sisters, Beverly Spencer, Gloria Stamps, Nina Durden and Felica White; brothers, Joe (Louise) White, Robert (Vet) White and Tyrone White; aunt, Bobbie Barckley; uncle, Jack Keith; grandchildren, Meoshia and Antonio Dobbins. Terry's Metropolitan Mortuary will direct the services.
