 Lonski, Karen age 50, made her most blessed journey home on January 16th, after a two year battle with lung cancer. Born September 28, 1956 to Gerald and Bobbie (nee Snow). Karen is survived by her loving family: twin sister, Sharon (James) Barrett; sister, Lisa (Salvatore) Bucaro; brothers, Doyle (Edita) and Patrick (Joan); sisters and brother in heart, Steve and Maria (nee Ulyanisch) Schrader and Mary Dina; nieces, Jessica and Katherine Bucaro; great-niece, Jassmyne Lonski; nieces in heart, Natalie and Ella Schrader; nephews, Jeremiah, Jason, Christopher, Daniel and David Lonski; nephew in heart, Andrew Schrader. Loved many cousins as brothers and sisters. Karen attended Holy Trinity Grammar School and Holy Family Academy on the near north side of Chicago. Karen has been a Marketing Consultant for Valpak Chicago South since 1992. Prior to Valpak, Karen worked for the JS Paluch Company as a sales representative and the Walgreen Company as a drug store manager. Karen was a volunteer for Make-A-Wish Foundation as a wish granter for more than 15 years and also served as a Eucharistic Minister at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood. Visitation Thursday, 4 to 9 p.m. and Friday, 4 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services Saturday, 8:45 a.m., from Ridge Funeral Home, (Edward A. Tylka, Director), 6620 W. I only learned today of Karen's passing. We met Karen several times at our home when she was our VapPak sales rep. We were absolutely delighted to meet and work with her on our promotional business. She not only was a credit to her company but she became a friend as well. We will truly miss her.
