Karen & I shared a Norwegian class or 2 @ St. Olaf back when. Though I haven't been in contact with her, I remember her as a sweet person. Please accept my thoughts & prayers.

For my career in Rotary I owe everything to Karen. Her enthusiasm and ability to get things done was a wonder to all of us who knew her. I would try to walk on water for her and miss her, even for faraway Maine

Jim & Family,

Karen was and always be a great lady. In the year before, during and after her year as Governor of Rotary District 6440 she showed all of us her dedication and commitment not only to the ideals and goals of Rotary. She was very dedicated to the children of the world. This was shown time and time again by her strong and continued support the Rotary Youth Exchange. It has an honor to know and work with her.

She is already being missed by us who knew her.

Although I did not know Karen personally, I know the influence for good her life had on my dear friends: Karen's cousin, Malou Roth, and her Rotary friend, Joyce Knauff. Her passing is mourned and her memory will always be held dear by those who knew her. My prayers and good wishes to her husband and family.
