DECKER, 70
WINTER HAVEN - Karen Barnett Decker, born October 7, 1941 and died of cancer April 20, 2012.
Karen moved to Florida in 1950. She grew up in Lakeland, and graduated school from Kathleen. She settled in Winter Haven to work and raise her family.
Karen is predeceased by her parents Walter and Helen Barnett. She leaves behind a son Robert L. Decker Jr. of New Smyrna Beach, FL., a daughter Jill P. Decker of Winter Park, FL., two granddaughters Lyndsey B. Decker of Orlando, FL. and Loryn "Haleigh" Decker of Mulberry, FL., two sisters Jean Cameron of Calhoun, GA., Diane and Al Kerns of Resaca, GA., an aunt and uncle Oletia and Joe Wallis of Sebring, FL., 4 nieces, 2 nephews and a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a sea of friends she loved like her own family.
Services will be held 2:30pm on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Christ Community Church located 1895 Overlook Drive, Winter Haven, FL. 33884.
The family would like to request in lieu of flowers please make a donation in Karen's name to Good Sheppard Hospice House located at 105 Arneson Ave. Auburndale, FL. 33823.

We moved to Florida from London when I was a kid and Karen was so welcoming to us and my mum and stuff. A lovely lady and always had fond memories of her. Sad to see her passing. RIP Karen
