My dear Clyde: I am in San Carlos, Mexico at the present time...I believe your family knew when we were taking care of dear June's guardianship that I was going away. Therefore, I will miss her funeral, but I do want all of you to know how much I respected that dear and lovely lady, and I am so very sorry that you lost her. However, in view of the tragic illness that consumed her last months it is obviously for the best, so cherish the happy memories and the joy that she brought to your lives. Affectionately, IRENE
