June Ogilvie Obituary

June 30, 1916 - Jan. 17, 2007

Mrs. Ogilvie was born June Rebecca Richardson in Vancouver, Wash. She married William Ogilvie in 1938. They lived in Oakland, where they owned and operated the well known Ogilvie Bakery. June was active in civic affairs and was a Worthy Matron for the Oakland Eastern Star.

After retirement, the couple moved to Leisure Town in Vacaville. Mrs. Ogilvie enjoyed painting and was active in many of Leisure Town's clubs. She was one of the original members in the Unity Church.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Bill; niece, Annie Konto, Valerie Martino, Jean Richardson, Bridget Garner, Ed and Edel Lake, as well as many other people whose lives she touched.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Unity Church, 350 N. Orchard Ave., Vacaville. Minister Vic Jenkins and members of the Eastern Star will conduct the services.

Interment will be private.

Donations may be made to Unity Church of the Valley, 350 N. Orchard Ave., Vacaville, 95687; or The Eastern Star, Vacaville.

Arrangements are under the direction of Nadeau Family Funeral Home, 455-7700.
