In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

As the reality sunk in i began to cry and for a split second i lost my mind and began to ask God WHY?, never aloud only in my thoughts. i wasn't brave enough to question GOD. he has the power to give life and take it away. then the holy spirit said to me THE LORD GIVETH AND THE LORD TAKETH AWAY,BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD, and i recieved a calmness and a peace. God allows us to share our lives for a season to supply a need for an appointed time. it is in our best interest to embrace all that God has for us through the people we share, embrace it in a spirit of humblness recieving all that God has for us. and when that time is up, we will have no regrets, Julius was a bright spot in my day even when i didn't see him, i could think of something he said to me and start laughing. he had a kind gentle spirit and loved to laugh and smile. two things i remember most about Julius is he was in love with his mother and never ended a conversation without talking about his girls. i love you Julius, my freind for an appointed time. Shaelane Duncan, a freind and co-worker
