Dennis and family....We were honored to know Julie and to have been a part of her life. Her place with us will always be sealed because even as she fought cancer and wore a bandanna on her head, she became what amounted to our matron of honor at our wedding in Negril, Jamaica, two years ago. Mark and I can think of only a handful of couples who truly seem to be soul mates and fully intertwined with one another; Dennis and Julie top that list, and we strive every day to make our union as happy and fulfilling. We were so heartbroken to learn of Julie passing. Our two families have been woven together for so many years with our daughers being such great friends.Always enjoyed the occasions we spent together. A beautiful person we will never forget. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I have known Julie and Dennis AKA as "Mother and Pa" since I was 10 years old. They are the parents of my oldest and dearest friend, Melinda Jumper. When I think of Mother, all kinds of childhood memories come flooding back.......here are a few of my favorites.....

her "head to toe" stare she gave people the first time she met them...

she was at every graduation I ever had.....

she was at my wedding...

she held each one of my kids as babies.....

And....

It is because of Mother that I have Melinda.....

And for that I am so very thankful..

I love this family as if it were my very own...

And Mother will remain in my heart FOREVER...

I am so, so sorry for your loss.



I just thought of Julie a short time ago and wondered how she was. We worked together for 13+ years at Morton College (I was in Student Activities).



I'll always remember Dennis picking her up from work on the motorcycle.



I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Julie was a very special person.
