Mrs.Julie Smith was one of my favorite teachers while I attended Ruggles Elementary school....She had a beautiful spirit and she made me want to learn....Even though it's been a long time since I've seen her I still remember her and how kind she was to all the student...She will truly be missed and may she rest in God's heavenly peace.

I attended the home going service for Julie. It was a wonderful sendoff for a wonderful person. The singing was excellent and quite moving; the message from the book of Philippians was woven in to portray a sophisticated lady who very well may have been saying, "For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
I went to college with Julie and later caught up with her on the line dance scene. She was always a beautiful individual. I will continue to keep her family in prayer.

The staff at St. Mark Manor will miss you, Julie. We enjoyed having you on the Board of Directors and miss the times when you and Nelsie would visit and assist us with parties and functions we held for the residents here. You and Rudy attended the weddings of two staff members and we are forever grateful for you gracing us with your presence. We pray that your family will experience the love and strength that only comes from God the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit. May they find peace in knowing that you fulfilled your purpose on earth and served God well by serving others. Rest in Peace, Julie.

Sympathy, thoughts and prayers to the entire family. Julie was a neighbor in Chatham, and fellow Rugglesite and Hirschite. I also knew her through St Mark UM Church where my godmother was a member. I will always remember her smile and concern for others.
