Julia King Obituary

King, Julia "Jill" (nee Kurysh), of Frankfort, formerly of Olympia Fields and Harvey. Passed May 26, 2002. She was born January 23, 1926, in Chicago. She was a homemaker and had worked at the Star- Tribune Publications in Harvey and was later a nurse at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights for ten years. She is survived by her husband Donald, son Roger (Jean) King of Minnesota and daughter Diana (Allan) McGowan of New York, sisters Mary Hastings of Arizona and Olga Campbell of Ohio, four grandchildren John (Stacey), Michael and Thomas King and Laura McGowan, two great-grandchildren Peyton and Bennett King, also many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, 2 to 9 p.m. at Kerr- Parzygnot Funeral Home, 540 Dixie Highway, Chicago Heights, IL 60411. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Infant Jesus of Prague Church, Flossmoor, IL. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL. Memorials may be made to Ingalls Hospital, Harvey, IL. Arrangements by Kerr-Parzygnot Funeral Home, 708-754-0016 Visit Guest Book at www.suntimes.com

I'm so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Jill as being the most beautiful and gracious of my parents' friends. She was always kind and I felt at home around her, even as a very small child. My love to your family.
