Perlberg, Jules Martin age 76, of Glencoe and Longboat Key, FL. Loving and devoted husband and best friend for 38 years of Dodie (nee Morris), most treasured father of Julie (Keith) Radner and Michael (Emily), adored Papa of Lauren and Joshua Radner and Grant Perlberg, devoted son of the late Louise and Maurice, cherished cousin, great friend and mentor to many. Service Monday, 1:30 p.m., at Am Shalom, 840 Vernon, Glencoe. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Retired Sr. Partner with Sidley Austin, LLP, practiced law with the firm for 50 years. Graduate at University of Michigan, Undergraduate and Law School. On the law review and faculty member at University of Michigan Law School. Past President of the Glencoe School Board, active member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and Past Board Member of the American Jewish Committee. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 500 N. Dearborn, Chicago, IL 60610. Tele: 312-670-0313. I KNEW JULES FOR 40 YEARS. HE WAS A VERY FINE PERSON. I TRAVELING WITH HIM IN EUROPE IN 1960. HE WILL BE MISSED.

From my first days at the University of Michigan, Jules was my friend; in law school he became my extended family and mentor. Since then, despite living miles apart, we remained close. Dodi, and then Julie, Michael and their families became dear to me and my wife, Cynthia and through a continuing relationship with them, the memory of my great friend, Jules, will remain fresh and vibrant.
