Family-Placed Death Notice

Jule Temple, Jr., 67 of 402 Athens Street, Hartwell, GA, died Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Born in Hart County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Jule Temple, Sr. and Melba Hayes Temple. He graduated from Hart County High School in 1953 and was a graduate of University of Georgia with Degrees in Zoology and Psychology. He worked in the insurance industry in Atlanta, Athens and Hartwell. He was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, a member of Hartwell First Baptist Church and he was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Emily Gaston Temple. The body was cremated and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Hartwell First Baptist Church. Dr. F. Hugh Kirby will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family is at the home.
