April 22, 2005

I was saddened beyond words to learn of the death of an old friend, Judy Silverstein. I was part of the Gary, Hammond, Munster community and at one time, Judy and I worked together at the Jewish Federation. My late husband, Barney Labowitz was Executive Director there.

I will always remembr Judy as I knew her: kind, generous, a loving wife and mother -- truly a woman of valor.
