Dear Margie and Flip, I was your nanny the summer of 1977. Your mom hired me sight unseen from college in South Dakota. Your parents were so good to me! Your mom made sure I experienced the city from baseball games to museums. She was so nice to me and so funny. She lined me up on a couple of blind dates! She had such a huge heart and a huge personality! I am so sorry for your loss of her. She made a huge impression on my life in those 3 months, I can only imagine what a huge hole has been left in your heart. I have a cute picture of you and your parents to share. I have a couple of other pictures, if you want them, email me and I will send them. I would be remiss if I didn´t mention your dad. Such a fine man and I am sure he is also greatly missed. My thoughts are with you. Sincerely, Nancy Vander Aarde Hodson. [email protected]

To Judy's Family,
My deepest sympathy for your tremendous loss. Judy served on the Jane Addams Juvenile Court Foundation Board when I was the Executive Director. It is in no way hyperbole to say that without Judy, we could never have accomplished the progress at the Juvenile Court that we did. Her strength, passion, commitment, and influence were limitless. I, and the Juvenile Court of Cook County, will be forever in her debt.
With deepest gratitude and sorrow,
Sheila Merry

Dear Family of Judy,
I was terribly saddened to learn that
Judy died. Anything that I can say or do at a time like this will bring you little comfort. I like to remember all the happy times that we had together at Friday Club. The Field Museum, The Saddle and etc.
How proud she was of your many fine accomplishments. You and your entire Family have my deepest and most sincerest sympathy.
With love,
Liz Stiffel
