Barb was my sister by marriage, officially, but blood relatives of the heart. We had a connection that surpassed the distance, as we seldomly were in the same physical place. I have many hand crafted gifts from her, and Peg, that keep her memory alive in my home. Her gutsy wisdom and direct expression of love will always be alive in my heart. She was close to my children which she managed to maintain across the miles. She will forever be a role model to all of us of how to survive, despite adversity! But now Peg must survive without her, and that will take the strength they both exhibited throughout their lives together, and more. Peggy, we all mourn Barb, but condolences and strength go out to you. We thank you for your never-ending love and dedication to Barbara. You! made her life worth living. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. It is my wish that Marion (her Mom) was there to greet her with open arms when she passed, and they both breathed in deep healthy sighs of relief. Thanks to all of you who added quality to Barb's life.

Barbara was one of the first internet friends that I made. She was always helpful with any question I had about COPD. My sympathies go out to her family and Peg and Mac. May she rest in peace. She will be missed.

To Barbara's family and Peg I extend my most sincere sympathies. Barb was my internet friend and I never had the good fortune to meet her but felt I knew her forever. I know that Barb is no longer suffering and that is a consolation except we were not ready to part with her. May God help each one of you through this very difficult time
