Joyce Brown Obituary

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Joyce Marie Dodd Brown, 73, entered into rest January 29, 2007 at Doctors Hospital. Mrs. Brown is survived by a daughter, Debra Dodd; brother, David Dodd of Winter Park, FL; sister-in-law, Mrs. Arnold Dodd of Augusta; nieces Betty Ann Dodd of Augusta and Darryl Lynn Green of Hendersonville, NC; nephew William A. Dodd of Atlanta. Mrs. Brown loved to travel and care for cats. Her sense of humor will be surely missed. Mrs. Brown was an avid reader and wealth of information. She retired from Mercy Hospital in Miami, FL as PBX operator in 1996. Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her husband Charles Brown, son David Stalvey, parents Arnold Raymond Dodd Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Duchaine Dodd, sister Josephine Dodd, brothers John Dodd, Howard Dodd, and Arnold R. Dodd Jr. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
