Josephine Wlodarski Obituary

Wlodarski, Josephine A. (nee Bednarek) age 94, formerly of Roseland. Devoted wife of 67 years to the late Michael C. Wlodarski; loving mother to Fred (Teresa) Wlodarski, Margaret (Robert) Czyz, Lorayne Wlodarski Burns, and Michael (Mary) Wlodarski; cherished grandmother and Busia to Amy Wlodarski (Jeremy Ball), Jennifer Wlodarski (Michael Stahler), Matthew (Ashlie) Czyz, Christopher Czyz, Sarah-Anne Czyz, and David Czyz; Hilary Burns and Stefan Burns, Nicholas Wlodarski and Caroline Wlodarski; fond great-grandmother to Maia Stahler and Benjamin Ball. She will be remembered as an expert penny poker player, bowler and avid card player who belonged to three area senior groups. Favorite activities included spending time with family, enjoying a good laugh, playing Bingo, reading, making Pizzelles and Kolachy. She had an over 25 year career with Spiegel's culminating with a Diamond Service Award. Preceded in death by parents, Margaret (Grabczyk) and John Bednarek and siblings, John Bednarek, Anne Wojcik, Stephanie "Sue" Puch, and Brunswick Bednarek. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Prayer Service will be Monday, January 21st at 9:15 a.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home, 15618 S. Cicero Ave, Oak Forest, to St. Damian Catholic Church, 5220 West 155th Street, Oak Forest, IL Mass 10:00 a.m. Entombment Good Shepherd Cemetery.
