Josephine Opat Obituary

Opat, Josephine T. (nee Mlynarczyk), 85, late of Hegewisch, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2008, beloved wife of the late Michael Opat, loving mother of John (Linda) Opat, Michael (Valerie) Opat, Kathleen (Nathan) Kleefisch and Judith Opat, caring grandmother of seven grandchildren, cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Frank Mlynarczyk, brother, Walter (late Josephine) Mlynarczyk, and sister, Stella (late Edward) Krzemien. Josephine was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. Funeral service 9:30 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2008, at Opyt Funeral Home, 13350 S. Baltimore Ave., Chicago, IL, to St. Columba Church for 10:30 a.m. Mass. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Visitation Friday, 2 to 8 p.m. 773-646-1133
