Josephine Antos Obituary

Antos, Josephine Rose (nee Beranek) 96, of Brookfield IL, died peacefully on November 18, 2012 in New Jersey at her daughters home. Josephine was born March 21, 1916 in Lyons to Anna and Joseph Beranek. After marrying her husband Edward, she continued to live in the Lyons and Brookfield area, where they raised their 8 children. Josephine worked for Grey Hill Manufactures in Lagrange, IL and retired after 25 years of service. She also was a longtime parishioner of St. Hugh and Barbara's Church where she was active within the Seniors. Josephine was preceded in death by husband, Edward; daughters, Marion Antos and Marilyn Ormiston; parents, Anna and Joseph; brother, Jerome Beranek; sisters, Christine Rudle and Camille Beranek. Survived by brother, Joseph Beranek; sister, Betty Tetone and children, Dolores (Mitchel) Haloski; Richard (JoBeth); Lester (Ann); Joan (the late Andrew) Savastano; Barbara Martin; Jerry (Cheryl) and Edward (Lynne). Josephine was grandmother to 18, great-grandmother of 17 and great-great-grandmother of 2; aunt of many. Wherever she went she had kind words for others, while looking for the good in people. She was a woman with deep and abiding faith in the Lord. She left us to experience the joy of Jesus and to be reunited with her family and friends. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, June 29th, at 10:00 a.m at St. Hughes Parish, Lyons, IL. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Justice, IL.

Antos family I am deeply sorry for your lost. The pain you're going through I can only imagine. But Josephine Antos will truly be missed. Her loving ways will be seen again when you all are reunited in paradise. Psalms 37:10,11,29
