Ziomek, Joseph age 88, of Berwyn, formerly of Lyons, IL, WWII Army Veteran Radio Operator. Beloved husband of the late Wanda, loving father of Diane (Gary) Brown, Kurt (Sandy), Joel, Eugene (Leslie), and Janice (Mike) Matveychik, cherished grandfather of John, Cindy, Jennifer, Joann, Ashley and Chris, fond brother of Dorothy Chitwood, late Joan Moore, Helen Herbert, Ted, Steven Ziomek and Stella Zito, many other relatives and close friends. Funeral services Saturday, June 21, 2008, 10 a.m., at Tower Home for Funerals, 4007 S. Joliet Ave., (but not on Joliet Rd., between Harlem & First Ave., just South of Ogden Ave.), Lyons, IL. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL. Member of Emil Scheive American Legion Post 699. Retired Brick Layer from D.H. Johnson and 50 year Brick Layers Local member.
