Woods, Joseph R. "Big Red" WWII era Army veteran, age 84. Passed away peacefully. Devoted husband of the late Dolores (nee O'Connell); loving father of Joe (Pat), the late Tom (the late Sherry), Jim (the late Maria), Cathy, Dan (Kelli), Mary (Greg) Ryhajlo, Mike (Sandy Perry), the late Betty (Mark) Latek, Peggy (Pete) Kobit and John (Jessica) Woods; caring grandfather and great grandfather of many. 42-year employee of Com Ed. Visitation Tuesday 3-9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, 9:15 a.m. from the Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home, 10727 S. Pulaski Road to St. Catherine of Alexandria Church.
