As Mr. Tasso's paperboy, I always felt important or accepted. Mr. Tasso was a passionate person to talk to and I always felt like a man when he spoke to me. That's a pretty good feeling when you're only ten to twelve years old. My brother Ken (now in minnesota) chose Mr. Tasso as a confirmation sponsor an excellent choice! Whenever Ken and I talked about Mr. Tasso it was obvious that we both felt the same way about a person who gave us an "accepted" identity outside the home. He gave us so much, and he was our "customer". He was often seen at church arriving in that old Mercury (cool!) He was married fifty three years, still an inspiration when I'm fourty four! We were blessed.
