It's so hard to believe you've been gone 9 years. I think about you and other relatives daily. I know you are still watching over the Solava Family. I was lucky to have you as an Uncle/Godfather. You were always joking around. Prayers for you and Family.sure miss you.

I remember you very well Uncle Joe and with much admiration and warmth. Married to 'our' English Aunt May. First as a young boy I recall your family visits to England in the early 1960's , lifting spirits in bringing such brightness, joy, life and fun to what felt by comparison a less vibrant Europe. Second with the kindness you extended when we came to visit you both and family in Chicago in your latter years (and had the amazing experience of seeing a ticker tape parade given for sporting heros in down town Chicago). I still hold dear the dollar bill you gave me as a youngster and the holy medal you shared when I was older when speaking fondly of your own family roots. God bless you.
