Rovetto, Joseph S. age 74, beloved husband of 51 years to Mary, loving father of Christine (Robert) Bascom, Cathie (Bill) Burns and John (Dawn), dearest papa of Samantha, Matthew, Anthony, Nicholas, Taylor, and Connor, dear son of the late John and the late Josephine (nee Farace) Rovetto, devoted brother of Vivian (Richard) Fjeldheim and Richard (Judy), fond uncle of Angela, Jack, Jeff, Jennifer, Shirley, Susan and John. Dedicated member of Chicago West-Suburban U.N.I.C.O. Holy Ghost Council Knights of Columbus, and the Italian American Sports Hall of Fame. Funeral Saturday, 9:15 a.m. from the Smith- Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, IL. to St. Theresa Church, Palatine IL, Mass 10 a.m. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Visitation Friday, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Chicago West-Suburban U.N.I.C.O. (c/o the Rovetto Family) to be distributed to its various charity. 847-359-8020 or 773-622-9300.
