I was out of town and first learned of Joe's death at Mass yesterday. His fellow "counters" at Queen of All Saints will miss his quiet sense of humor. Joe was a true gentleman in every sense of the word.

I was very saddened to hear of your brother's passing. I'm sure that he will be missed by your large family. To lose a sibling is to lose a bit of your own past, I'm sure. You and yours will be in my prayers and thoughts. Take comfort in all of your memories and knowing that he is with God.

Sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I worked for him years ago. He was a honest man, and valued the same in others. He served the CPD well. A good roll model to follow.

To Sister Bridget Mary: While I never knew your brother, the loss of a sibling always brings great sorrow as we feel a part of us is also taken away and that joy of childhood memories are will not be shared again.

Murphy Familiy, I am so sorry about Uncle Joe, I know he is happy to be in heaven with Auntie Marge and the rest of his family that has gone before. When I think of him he will always be in his uniform in the kitchen on Hiawatha. Your Mom asking if Mary Ann and Mark will be home for dinner because if she made you a potato you had better be there. It warms my heart to know they are together again. Joanne I am so sorry for your loss I know how happy you made these last years and how much he made you happy. I am glad that his journey is over for him and will pray for all of you .

we usually don't use email to send our feeling but we will this time. My mother Mary Ann Moriarty loved Joe. We of course got to know him since he married one of our neighbor Margie Nallen. Joe was very kind and often stopped to visit my mother at the nursing home across the street from your home..St Benedict
We are so sorry for your loss..may God grant him eternal peace.
