When Joe was living in Denver, I got to know him well. I was his youth leader at church and took a special interest in him. Joe ended up bringing his brother Tyler on a regular occasion who loved primary and after time his brother Sean started coming as well. He enjoyed reading the scriptures when we could really discuss their meaning. I have a photo of Joe and me in front of the Denver Temple just after doing baptisms for the dead. I will try to post it soon. I remember Joe's smile and laughter, it was contagious. He loved to play basketball with the other youth and was pretty good. He always tried to get me to let him drive my car when he turned 16. Joe tried my patience sometimes, but I was blessed with a love for him that I haven't had with any other youth. I miss you and love you Joe, Bro. Easton

I am deeply moved by the courage your family has to let others know the dangers of drugs. I am sorry for your loss & the pain that you have. It seems a great young man was taken much to early.
God bless your family & watch over you always.

I don't know you but I think it is an incredibly brave thing that you did to let others know what harm drugs can do to a person. You have my deepest sympathies in the loss of your fiance and son.
