Patti and Hedi,
Joe and my Dad (Fred Mancini) were best friends in grade school. My Dad was older but they seemed to be in the same grade. Not sure how that happened! I remember Joe coming over to our house in Maywood when we were young and he and my Dad would laugh and laugh. Joe was a real joke teller. We would just stand there and listen. He made our attic into a bedroom (it took awhile but in the end, it was wonderful). I will always remember Joe Mangano. I will always love you Joe.
By the way, Patti, your Dad and my Dad are probably up there in heaven together now, and your Dad is telling jokes and my Dad is laughing.
My sympathy to you and your family,
Jane Mancini
