I am a first cousin of Joe who I have not seen in 40 years since our grandfather died, but I have fond memories of visiting him and his sister, and Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Joe as a youngster.
My sister, Antoinette, and nephew, Ernest, died from injuries they obtained in a fire from an explosion in 1989 and I feel the pain Joe's survivors are experiencing.
Unfortunately I was unable to come to the service but would love to hear from the family.
I live in LaPorte, IN but work in downtown Chicago, IL.

I only knew Joe a little from a meeting in Dallas in 1995. His energy was not escapable. His name often permeated conversations in my chosen industry be it in L.A. or Oklahoma or anywhere whenever Chicago was mentioned. Many professionals knew him and smiled whenever they said his name.

Cousin Joe, "My Best Man" We had some great times togather growing up, double dating and White Castle nights. Those days at Paw Paw lake were great. So many memories. I will miss your call on X-Mas Day as you had made so many times. Peace be with you.

My condolences to Sanna and Anne. What a big-hearted man with a mind and wit as agile and quick as they come. Had the pleasure of meeting Joe through my life partner Jack Enrietta. We will miss him so very much.
