What a great man. Always straight forward in his advice, but kind. Now that someone mentioned it, I do remember all of the terrific aromas exiting the living quarters. God wrap His arms around you Joe. Well done Joe

Father Joe was more than a teacher, priest and mentor, he was a man who could spot young people heading for trouble and gently guide them back to the path. The successful lives of many of Carmels graduates is in no small part due to Father Joes firm but fair guidance, but mostly because we knew he truly cared.

Father Joe was the best teacher and mentor that i ever had.....not to mention a great cook!! If he had not cared so much i would have never passed algebra. Words cannot begin to describe how much he will be missed.......Justin Priddy (louisville,Ky) DeSales 03"

Father Joe was a great man and a great mentor. I will always remember everything he did for me and for those at Our Lady of Mount Carmel. May he rest in peace in the arms of God whom he so faithfully served.

Joe you were an inspiration to generations of young people. The world will be a darker place without you. God's speed to your well earned rest. Well done.

Fr. Joe was one of the few and I mean few teachers that I will never forget. I can remember him walking down the hall as if it was yesterday. Good Man RIP

Father Joe was one of the most inspiring men in my life growing up. He taught me two years of Algebra and God Bless him for it. I was not the quickest student in that subjects. But he was so patient with me. He was tough and strong but also gentle and kind. A great man. I will miss him.
