Joseph Jimenez Obituary

Jimenez, Joseph B. Age 77. At rest Saturday December 3, 2011 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center with his loving wife by his side. Joe was born in Chicago, resided in Woodridge for 36 years most recently living in Crest Hill. He retired in 1990 from Honeywell, formerly Baron-Blakeslee, as a sheet metal dept. supervisor. Joe was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a parishioner of St. Anne Catholic Church. Survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Irene L. (nee Lopez); a loving daughter, Cindy Gehrt, and a loving grandson, Cory (Morgan) Gehrt; a great-grandson, Carter; his sisters, Lu Wall, Jessie Flanagan, Lola Molloy, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters. Funeral services for Joe Jimenez will be held on Friday December 9, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Anne Catholic Church Crest Hill for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. At rest his request, Cremation Rites will be accorded following services at church. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-9 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to:
